Since ancient times, the deities have created human beings with their own hands, bestowed their grace on them, and sent them to the earth.
One day, however, a deity appeared who manipulated divine artifacts that could autonomously create human beings without using their own hands. They were called "divine artifact deities”. Among the divine artifact deities, there were "creator deities" who created human beings with divine artifacts and "co-creator deities" who advised the creator deities and brought the created human beings down to earth.
After a while, a war broke out between the ancient deity "orthodox deity" and the divine artifact deity over the divine artifact. The orthodox deity claimed that the divine artifact was stealing our wisdom and artistry. The creator deity did not just release the human beings he created with his divine artifact, but also spent an inordinate amount of time giving grace with his own hands, just as the orthodox deity does. But the orthodox deity never understood that.
The overwhelming superiority of the majority, the orthodox deity, was obvious. The human beings created from the divine artifact deity were all burned by the fierce attack, and a part of the world was torn apart and spilled out. Divine artifact deities and the survivors of the human beings created by them moved into that sliver of the world.
Thereupon, the divine artifact deities created countless human beings. Gradually, the divine artifacts grew to incorporate not only humans, but also animals, plants, objects, landscapes, colors, sounds, words, feelings, thoughts, concepts, dreams, memories, futures, pasts, presents, possibilities, impossibilities, and everything else. The divine artifact deities used the divine artifact to fill the sliver of the world with beautiful, strange, and marvelous things and attempted to create a world that surpassed the original world. The world overflowed with the things created by the divine artifacts and split into countless microcosms. The divine artifact deities observed what was happening to the created beings in their respective parallel worlds, and decided to store their stories and scenes in an eternal memory artifact.
One of those countless microcosms is this world. In this world, a distortion has occurred between heaven and earth, and a source of magical power called the "Ether" is drifting on earth. By utilizing the ether, it is possible to distort the existing laws of the universe. In extremely rare cases, some humans were able to manipulate the ether and use some of the divine power. Humans who manipulated this ability created several nations. However, as time went on and the age of fire and iron came, the mystic arts of the ether were forgotten. And now it seems that a female order of knights called the Flame Lily is about to have a major impact on the world.
